  Nice ambiance, comfortable and relaxed seating arrangement. Staff coped really well despite a really brisk trade. The bar snacks were superb and of a better quality than run of the mill pub sandwiches. All in all easy to recommend.

  An awful experience. The place had been booked in advance for six adults and three small children to celebrate a birthday. Some people had travelled over 100 miles to be there. Food was ordered. Having waited 65minutes not even the starters had arrived. No explanation and no apology. No sign of food being prepared. Walked out and will not return. Another table of six walked out behind us. So a birthday meal completely ruined.
